Our guest speakers on this occasion were: Professor David Grayson CBE, Director of the Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility, Cranfield School of Management; Angela Baron, CIPD Adviser on Organisation Development and Engagement; and Caroline Waters OBE, Director of People and Policy, BT. David Grayson spoke about the importance of employee engagement and the business benefits of achieving it; Angela Baron spoke about the CIPD’s research in this area; and Caroline explained how BT seeks to engage employees and the results of doing so.
