Realising the Potential of Older Workers

In October the Group met to discuss the importance of age-friendly businesses and lifelong learning in order to realise the full potential of older workers. The guest speakers were: Dr Michael Hodin, Chief Executive of the Global Coalition on Aging; Shaun Crawford, a Partner and Global Insurance Leader at Ernst & Young LLP, who is also a member of the BITC Age at Work Leadership Team; and Peter Mayhew-Smith, Chief Executive of the South Thames College Group, who recently led an inquiry into lifelong learning for an ageing workforce.
